Taiwan Hot Springs invites the public to enjoy great hot springs and win great prizes. The “2025–2026 Taiwan Hot Springs Hot Spring Island Tours Triple Giveaway,” organized by the East Longitudinal Valley National Scenic Area Headquarters, is now in full swing! Among them, the most anticipated “Hot Spring Cuisine Voting Prize Draw” officially launched on November 5, 2025. With just a few taps of your finger, you can vote for your favorite hot spring cuisine and receive a chance to win high-quality accommodation vouchers from certified hot spring inns with a total pool value of NT$200,000.
Located at the juncture of tectonic plates, Taiwan’s hot spring resources are abundant and diverse. From Beitou and Jiaoxi in the north, Guanziling in the south, Zhiben in the east, to the rare underwater hot springs of Green Island, the types of springs vary widely, from sodium bicarbonate springs to carbonated and mud springs. Each hot spring region, shaped by its local culture, historical background, and agricultural produce, has developed its own unique “hot spring cuisine DNA.” From street snacks and signature dishes at local restaurants to regional specialty gifts, they are must-eat and must-buy highlights before and after a hot spring soak. “Hot springs + gourmet food” make the most authentic and healing Hot Spring Island Tours. To help more people rediscover this local charm, the event has compiled a list of popular cuisines from 19 major hot spring regions across Taiwan, inviting hot spring fans to help create a uniquely Taiwanese hot spring gourmet food map.
Participation is extremely easy: four regions, eight votes—vote for the flavor you love most!
Participants should visit the event website and enter the “Hot Spring Cuisine Voting Prize Draw” section. Each person may cast 2 votes per region, for a total of 8 votes across the northern, central, southern, and eastern regions. After completing the voting and filling out basic information, participants will receive a chance in the prize draw. Each mobile number may participate once. The prizes are generous—those who vote have a chance to win from a pool of 40 accommodation vouchers for certified hot spring inns worth NT$200,000 in total. The winners are expected to be announced on Monday, January 12, 2026, on the “Taiwan Hot Springs” Facebook page.

The Taiwan Hot Springs brand enters its 19th year with this year’s promotional theme centered on “Hot Spring Island Tours,” encouraging the public to plan a hot spring journey that combines health, wellness, and gourmet. Through this voting event, visitors can rediscover local cultures through their taste buds and gain a deeper appreciation of how Taiwan’s hot springs and local cuisine complement each other in rich and layered ways.
The Valley Headquarters Director Tsung-Min HSU stated: “Every hot spring region has its own flavor story. We hope that through this easy and enjoyable voting event, more people will be encouraged to visit hot spring towns, savor delicious food, enjoy a good soak, and support local communities.”
In addition to voting online, the Valley Headquarters has also prepared an offline bonus for travelers who actually visit Hualien and Taitung for a hot spring trip! During the event period (November 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026), visitors who dine, stay, or shop for local specialty gifts at any participating business in Hualien and Taitung can participate in the “Happiness from Hualien–Taitung! Thank You for Your Support! Monthly Lucky Draw” by presenting proof of purchase (uniform invoice or receipt). For every NT$500 in accumulated spending logged, participants will receive one prize draw code (up to 200 entries per transaction). After uploading proof and completing registration, participants will be eligible for the draw. The prizes are plentiful: monthly draws will feature prizes including accommodation vouchers, electronic products, and Hualien–Taitung gift bundles. In addition, travelers who spend in Guangfu Township will be eligible for bonus draws, with a chance to win an iPhone 17 (256GB) or a TaiSugar accommodation voucher. The grand finale “Happiness Award” will give away a Toyota Yaris Cross, gold beans, and many other valuable prizes.
