The “Taiwan Hot Springs” brand, promoted by the Tourism Administration, MOTC, is now entering its 19th year. For 2025–2026, the main theme is “Hot Spring Island Tours,” integrating 19 major hot spring regions across Taiwan with local cuisines, hiking trails, railway culture, Indigenous culture, and in-depth experiences to curate hot spring tourism suitable for all ages and all seasons. This year, for the first time, Taiwan Hot Springs has partnered with three major travel agencies—Lion Travel, Cola Tour, and Best Tour—to launch the co-branded “Hot Spring Mini Tours,” offering a carefully curated and diverse selection of two-day itineraries in northern, central, southern, and eastern Taiwan, guiding travelers to explore unique hot springs and attractions throughout the island.
▋Visit the 19 Hot Spring Regions of Taiwan in One Go! Themed Hot-Spring Itineraries Now Available for You to Choose From
Located at the convergence of tectonic plates, Taiwan offers everything from cold springs to hot springs, with over a dozen spring types, making it a rare hot-spring treasure island in the world. The “Hot Spring Island Tours” around the 19 hot spring regions this year feature carefully planned themed itineraries for northern, central, southern, and eastern Taiwan. Each itinerary includes certified hot spring accommodations and visits to nearby attractions, encouraging travelers to stay at least one night in a hot-spring region to fully take in the charm of hot-spring travel around Taiwan.
▋Three Major Travel Agencies Join Forces — Sign Up for a Tour and Get a Limited “OhBear Sustainable Tumbler”
To boost the visibility of the “Taiwan Hot Springs” brand in the tourism market, this year’s campaign partners with Lion Travel, Cola Tour, and Best Tour to launch the “2025–2026 Taiwan Hot Springs Featured Recommendations” series of tours. From now until January 15, 2026, travelers who purchase any co-branded hot-spring group tour for the north, central, south, or east regions will receive a limited-edition “OhBear Hot Spring Island Tour Sustainable Tumbler” (limited quantity; available while supplies last).
This limited-edition tumbler is made of eco-friendly materials, featuring design elements symbolizing hot springs, mountains and seas, and scenic spots, along with the hot-spring-loving OhBear—making it a hot-spring-themed collectible that fans will treasure. Director Hsu Tsung-Min of the East Longitudinal Valley National Scenic Area Headquarters—the organizer of this campaign—expressed that he hopes this long-lasting creative product, designed to fit seamlessly into everyday life, will strengthen and refresh the image of the Taiwan Hot Springs brand while promoting sustainable tourism.

Taiwan’s hot springs come in a rich variety, from “beauty springs” (sodium bicarbonate springs), carbonic springs, sulfur springs, to the one-of-a-kind underwater hot spring. Paired with local cuisines, unique handicrafts, and natural scenery, hot springs offer the most healing and relaxing winter travel experience. Through this collaboration with travel agencies, the goal is to guide more travelers to Taiwan, the hot-spring treasure island, to experience local culture and support local industries through action.
