Dongpu is one of the entrances to Yushan National Park and there are beautiful mountains and rivers in the vicinity. The most famous tourist attraction here is the hot spring. Besides the hot spring, Dongpu is also famous for its plums. The plums are used in food and wine. Other special foods include persimmon, tea, spring coffee, sweet potato, etc. Visitors can visit Dongpu Cliff, Batongguan Ancient Trail and Rainbow Waterfall in early morning.
